Skincare That Sparks Joy: My Avon Trio & Simple Self-Care Ritual

Daily writing prompt
Describe one simple thing you do that brings joy to your life.

What’s one simple thing that brings me joy?
For me, it’s self-care—especially when it involves a little indulgence in skincare.

I don’t wear makeup, but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to look and feel my best. I’m not getting any younger (hello, wisdom years!), and while my sensitive skin can’t handle everything, I’ve found a trio that’s truly elevating my skincare game:

This little routine has brought both glow and joy into my mornings. I use it regularly—Monday through Friday—and while I do enjoy rotating in other products or a face mask on the weekend (shout out to The Crème Shop Be Juicy, Skin! Animated Corgi Mask—so fun!), this trio has become my go-to.

In fact, I loved it so much right away, I even made a mini post to celebrate it (picture at the bottom). After about a month, the serum is already halfway gone, so I’d estimate needing to restock every two months. The moisturizer will last longer, and the eye cream? That might stick around even longer thanks to how little you need.

I’ve talked before about other things that bring me joy from Avon—like their jewelry—and if you’ve never explored Avon or it’s been a while, I invite you to check out my Avon page on CherryCoBiz where I share honest reviews and recommendations.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 years and started offering Avon through CherryCoBiz just last year. I don’t push sales—I never will. I believe people know what they want and need. If something on CherryCoBiz resonates with you, I hope it brings you joy too. And if it doesn’t? I’ll keep loving my Avon all the same. ?

CherryCoBiz is a one-woman show run by someone almost half a century old who loves truth, good products, and community. That’s what I hope to share here. I genuinely love the brands I feature—and if you ever want a physical Avon catalog, or need help finding something, just let me know. I’m always happy to help.

Joy can be simple. For me, today, it’s this little skincare routine—and the peace it brings me each morning.

? P.S.

If you’d like to browse the latest Avon catalog, here’s the current brochure—and you can always visit my Avon store here.

Got a question? Curious about a product? Or just want to share what brings you joy?
I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me anytime at terra.turner@CherryCoBiz.com or leave a comment below.

Let’s keep spreading the joy. ?
