Cerasina was born from a moment of creative clarity, sparked by a vision of twin cherries glowing softly in a night sky — a constellation I felt was uniquely mine.
That vision is rooted in my own astrological makeup — a Capricorn Sun, Sagittarius Moon, and Aquarius Rising — and in a unique blend of life influences. I was raised in a home where astrology was openly studied by my father, and also within a strong Christian environment. While I no longer align with those religious ideologies, I’m grateful for having experienced such different worldviews. They gave me the ability to look at symbols, stories, and systems with curiosity rather than fear, and to see how meaning can be layered in many ways.
Astrology, for me, is not a belief system — it’s a language. It’s a way of seeing patterns and stories in the sky that mirror the complexity of life here on Earth. Over the years, I’ve read charts for friends and have rarely met someone who doesn’t eventually recognize themselves in what the stars have to say. Even when the connection isn’t obvious at first, I think that’s part of the beauty — sometimes the undercurrent of a chart reveals itself quietly, once we’ve had time to reflect.
I see astrology as a kind of cosmic fingerprint. No two are exactly alike — much like snowflakes, or a garden in bloom. Even flowers of the same variety grow differently: some turn toward the sun, others face each other, some bow low in the rain, all bending and shifting with the changing seasons. Charts are like that too — they speak to the energies surrounding our lives, and while those energies can manifest differently from one person to another, the core patterns are still there, shaping the journey.
Cerasina will be the dedicated home for all things astrology here at CherryCoBiz. We’ll explore planetary transits, signs, and the rich history of astrological thought. As time goes on, this page will evolve — with new offerings, deeper dives, and perspectives that blend personal experience with universal patterns.
Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or simply curious, Cerasina is a space for exploration. I invite you to join the conversation, share your questions, and see what stories are written in your own sky.

✨ Every Planet Has a Personality — Let’s Meet Them
Welcome to Planetary Personalities, a living series here on Cerasina. Each post explores one of the major astrological bodies — what it represents, how it behaves, and how we can work with its energy in daily life.
I chose to follow an order that blends both tradition and intuition: starting with the Moon (our closest companion and emotional anchor), then Mercury, Venus, the Sun, and Mars — before moving outward to Jupiter, Saturn, and beyond. This rhythm mirrors how we experience the planets: the ones we “feel” most closely in daily life first, before moving to the larger, slower-moving forces that shape broader themes and generations.
Think of this series as a guidebook — not rigid rules, but reflections, archetypes, and lived experiences. Each entry is written from both study and personal connection, with plenty of room for growth as Cerasina itself evolves.
So let’s begin with 🌙 The Moon — our emotional keeper and night sky companion.

🚪 The Twelve Doors of Life
If the planets are the players and the signs are their costumes, the houses are the stage on which the story unfolds. Each house represents a different area of life — from identity and relationships to purpose and transcendence. Together, they create a map of experience: twelve doors we open again and again as we grow.
Some doors lead inward, to self-reflection and transformation. Others open outward, toward the world and the roles we play within it. Each one offers a distinct lesson — not fixed or fated, but fluid and evolving, like the lives we lead.
This series, The Twelve Doors of Life, explores each house as both metaphor and mirror. You’ll find reflections, examples, and imagery that help bring these spaces to life — beginning with The Door of Self and moving through every threshold of being.
Whether you’re new to astrology or deepening your practice, this section is meant as an invitation:
Step through the doors of your chart, and see what part of your story is waiting to be understood next.

✨ The Faces of the Zodiac
Astrology doesn’t end on a chart; it lives in us, shaping how we move, dress, and carry our light. Some people radiate their sign before they ever speak — the Leo whose hair catches sunlight like flame, the Libra whose symmetry feels like calm in motion, the Scorpio whose eyes hold quiet storms.
This series explores how celestial energy finds expression in our physical form — in posture, presence, and personal style. Yet appearances are rarely one-note. The Rising sign, more than any other placement, colors how we’re seen by the world — the outer lens through which our essence shines. It’s why we sometimes guess wrong: what we’re sensing might be the Ascendant’s aura rather than the Sun’s core.
It isn’t science; it’s symbolism — a study of expression, projection, and pattern. Think of it as pattern-spotting for the soul’s costume design: how Mars dictates a decisive stride, how Venus influences what we adorn ourselves with, and how Saturn commands a posture of quiet structure.
This isn’t about being right. It’s about seeing differently — about noticing when the stars blur their edges and how identity, like the constellations themselves, shifts depending on where you’re standing.

🌠 Decoding the Stars: An Astrology 101 Guide
Astrology has its own rhythm, and with it comes a vocabulary all its own. Words like retrograde, conjunction, or stellium might sound mysterious at first, but each is a key that unlocks a new way of seeing the universe — and yourself.
This section is a living space. It isn’t bound by a rigid schedule, but it is meant to be steady and evolving. Some weeks, you may find a single new word explored in depth. Other times, inspiration may spark a cluster of terms or a different path altogether. Over time, these entries will grow into a rich glossary you can return to whenever you want to explore or revisit.
The purpose isn’t to overwhelm with jargon. It’s to build a shared vocabulary — a celestial lexicon — that deepens your connection to your chart, to the posts here at Cerasina, and to the cycles of the universe.
So come back often, see what’s new, and let curiosity guide you through the stars at your own pace.
