I’m Not Chasing Perfection, I’m Cultivating Progress

Daily writing prompt
If humans had taglines, what would yours be?

Hello CherryCoBiz community,

Today’s writing prompt on WordPress got me thinking: “If humans had taglines, what would yours be?” After reflecting on my journey, both personal and professional, I’ve realized that my tagline truly is: “I’m not chasing perfection, I’m cultivating progress.”

Embracing the Journey

Perfection is an elusive goal, often leaving us feeling inadequate and constantly striving for an unattainable ideal. But progress? Progress is real, tangible, and something we can see and feel in our everyday lives. It’s about taking small steps, making incremental improvements, and celebrating each victory along the way.

Holistic Wellness

At CherryCoBiz, my mission has always been to create a holistic hub of information, where wellness is not just about physical health but encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. This platform is a place to find supplements from sources I personally invest my time and energy in, appreciating the wealth of products offered by diverse programs that choose to run their business models via MLM. While some people may have misconceptions about MLM, I aim to change those negative stereotypes. It’s about connecting through valuable resources and understanding that you don’t have to sell anything to benefit from these products. My aim is to help people make informed decisions and find products that truly enhance their wellness.

Community Connection

Being vested in my local community is important to me. From donating resources to running a Facebook community dedicated to local connections, I believe in the power of community support. Additionally, I provide Cherry Tips daily on my Facebook page, Terra Turner, where I invite anyone interested to follow me for those tips and join in building this lovely community. My focus is on CherryCoBiz.com, where I am passionate about sharing what I know with the masses to keep myself focused on good, healthful choices and to be inclusive. We are all in this together, and we can accomplish great things with knowledge.

Personal Growth and Discipline

Reflecting on my past health choices and current endeavors, I recognize that personal discipline is key to ultimate personal growth. I embarked on a 40-day abstinence from alcohol on December 8, 2023, for spiritual and healthful reasons, and I started another round just this past Mother’s Day for the same reasons. While I enjoy drinking, moderation is crucial, and these exercises in discipline have taught me valuable lessons. It’s not about abstaining entirely but about finding balance and learning to grow through discipline.

Culinary Creations

One of my latest passions has been experimenting with various recipes, particularly salads. My new Recipes page on CherryCoBiz is a testament to this journey. It’s not about creating the perfect dish but about exploring flavors, enjoying the process, and sharing that joy with others. For example, my Spinach & Berry Delight Salad has become a favorite in my household, a delightful mix of healthful ingredients that perfectly embodies the balance I strive for.

Encouraging Mindfulness

Through Cherry Tips and other content, I aim to inspire mindfulness and wellness in everyday life. It’s about taking those small steps—be it a new recipe, a moment of meditation, or a community event—that collectively lead to a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Conclusion

“I’m not chasing perfection, I’m cultivating progress” is more than a tagline; it’s a way of life. It’s about embracing the journey, celebrating each step forward, and understanding that true wellness comes from continuous growth and learning. If I help one person, influence one person, then I have done what I set out to do. I just want to help you achieve your best you while I continue to discover my best me. At 48 years old and still learning and growing, I see how beautiful life really is.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Together, we can cultivate a life of wellness, joy, and progress.

Warm regards,
Terra
