Recently, I found myself in one such fleeting chapter, a short-term assignment with a local non-profit organization dedicated to aiding the homeless community in Springfield, MO. Although my time with them is brief—merely a few weeks—it’s a period that has profoundly enriched my life and perspective.

This experience, though just a couple of weeks long and possibly extending a few more, has been an illuminating journey into the world of compassion, resilience, and community support.
