Hey CherryCoBiz Community—and a warm welcome to anyone new here. ?
If you’ve been following along, you know I’ve been on a journey of movement and balance. I’m nearly two months into steady activity again—and this week was a win: two water aerobics classes, two days of walking with weights, and today another walk to round it out. Weekends, I reserve for R&R—but right now? I feel so good.
A big part of that is what I call mindful hydration. Instead of just tracking ounces, I’ve made it a simple practice: a cup of water every hour during workdays. At home, I just drink when I need. It sounds small, but the difference is huge—more energy, clearer focus, and a steadier rhythm to my days.

Some longtime readers might remember my 80-pound weight loss with Isagenix. While I no longer offer those products (and honestly can’t afford them right now), I’ve found new ways to stay well. I’ve kept 60 pounds off over the years, and now, with the mix of movement, mindful hydration, and paying attention to carbs and protein—not perfection, just balance—I’m only five pounds away from that original milestone.
And it’s not just wellness that has me feeling good; my creative projects are aligning in a similar way. Months ago, I wrote about Side Eye Guy, and he actually responded to thank me. That had me glowing.
That response meant so much to me—and it turns out, it was only the beginning of even more exciting connections. Recently, I published a Reverb post, Morning Joe Misses the Point on Newsom’s Strategy, inspired by a Keith Edwards video. Keith saw it, liked it, and shared it—and Holy Koolaid responded too. Two incredible creators in one shot. ?
The funny thing? I had just celebrated Holy Koolaid in another post, When Doubt Becomes a Weapon. To be noticed now feels like a full-circle moment. These voices are making waves, and I’m grateful to surf them, share them, and add my own echo—helping others cut through the noise.
So yes, today I feel fantastic. Not because everything is perfect, but because small, steady steps—in health and creativity—are aligning in ways I didn’t even plan for.
How about you, friends? How are you feeling right now—and what little wins are carrying you forward?
