From “Maybe” to Must-Have: My Latest Avon Finds

It’s no secret I’m an Avon fanatic. Over the years, I’ve found my favorites, fallen in love with new launches, and shared plenty of “you need to try this” moments with you. In my latest order, I went on a bit of a discovery mission, and a new soap I was unsure about turned into an instant favorite. I’m excited to share my thoughts on that and a few other notable finds from this haul.

My ride-or-die has always been the Veilment Natural Spa Himalaya Pink Salt Exfoliating Soap. I’ve recommended it for months because it’s truly a lovely experience — gentle exfoliation, refreshing scent, and sensitive-skin friendly. It’s still my top recommendation.

Pretty in pink and packed with benefits — the Veilment Natural Spa Himalaya Pink Salt Exfoliating Soap is my go-to for smooth, refreshed skin.

So when I spotted the Avon Nostalgia Sweet Berry & Jasmine Bar Soap Boxed Set, I hesitated. Would it compare? Would it work for my sensitive skin? And honestly, the price point made me wonder if it was more of a “pretty collector’s box” than an everyday self-care staple. But after reading glowing reviews, my curiosity got the best of me. I ordered it — thinking I’d test it for the blog and then tuck it away for special occasions.

The Avon Nostalgia Sweet Berry & Jasmine Bar Soap Boxed Set — beautifully packaged, delicately scented, and ready to surprise you in the best way.

Boy, was I wrong.

From the first lather, I knew this wasn’t just a pretty box. The scent — a soft, sweet blend of berry and jasmine — instantly filled the room. My son said it reminded him of bubble bath in the best possible way. My best friend tried it and loved it too. The formula is luxuriously creamy, moisturizing, and gentle on my sensitive skin. Each bar is thick, substantial, and beautifully wrapped in floral-printed paper with an Art Nouveau-inspired design. It’s more than soap — it’s a sensory experience. Avon, please keep this one in the lineup. I’ve already reordered and plan to stock up.

Jewelry Finds: My New Favorite Owl Bracelet

I fell in love with the Wild Wisdom Owl Bracelet and even grabbed the matching necklace. The tiny, intricate owl design feels whimsical yet thoughtful, making it the kind of accessory that’s personal and fun to wear. The layered mix of beads, pearls, and charms adds texture and personality to any outfit.

From Avon’s Wild Wisdom Collection — I went for the owl (purple) with its mix of colorful glass-like beads, pearly accents, and warm wood, plus that charming little tassel. Playful, personal, and just my style. Which one would you pick: owl, elephant, or fox?

Haircare Hits & Misses

This time I tried the CHI® Essentials Replenishing Shampoo and Moisturizing Conditioner. A little goes a long way, and I’m happy with the results. That said, my heart still belongs to the Organist Rosemary Mint and the Elastine PropoliThera Repair Shampoo & Conditioner — those two remain my top picks for overall look and feel.

Organist Rosemary Mint — a refreshing blend that leaves hair soft, clean, and lightly scented with crisp herbal notes.

Haircare is such a learning process for me — and I’ve learned I definitely don’t need a clarifying product every week (rookie move).

Golden care for your hair — the Elastine PropoliThera Repair Shampoo & Conditioner is packed with honey, royal jelly, and propolis for a luxe, nourishing wash.

Unexpected Fashion Wins

This was my first time buying clothing from Avon, and I was pleasantly surprised. I picked up the rainbow-striped pants (lightweight, soft fabric) and got a compliment the first day I wore them. On me, they fit more like pants than capris — which I think I love even more.

A pop of color for any day — these rainbow-striped pants are as fun to wear as they are comfortable.

I also grabbed the Burnout Cardigan. It’s lightweight, wrinkle-resistant, and has that “day to night” versatility. I could wear it to work or save it for an evening out. The sheer, subtly striped fabric drapes beautifully, giving it a touch of elegance without feeling fussy.

Light, sheer, and effortlessly chic — this Burnout Cardigan works for the office, dinner, or anywhere in between.

Self-Care Staples

In addition to restocking my new soap obsession, I reordered one of my two skincare favorites:

The Face Shop Rice Water Bright cleansers — my go-to duo for a clean, refreshed feel. I like to rotate between the foaming cleanser and the gentle exfoliating cleanser every couple of months for the perfect balance.

These rotate regularly in my routine and work beautifully for my skin, leaving it feeling clean but not stripped.

? Final Thoughts
Avon continues to surprise me. Even after all these years, I find myself falling for products I didn’t expect to love. The Nostalgia Sweet Berry & Jasmine Bar Soap is proof that sometimes, the “maybe” products turn into the ones you can’t live without.
