11:11 and Other Reminders I’m Alive

Daily writing prompt
Do you have a quote you live your life by or think of often?

Do I have a quote I live by or think of often? I sure do. In fact, I live by a few.

If you already follow CherryCoBiz, you might be familiar with QuietQuest, the space I created for meditation, mindfulness, and exploring the unseen layers of life. It’s there that I share how deeply I value stillness, reflection, and the little messages the universe leaves us—if we’re paying attention.

One mantra I’ve carried with me for years is this:
“Love, peace, and happiness.”
It’s more than words—it’s a rhythm. A breath. A pulse. It reminds me to live with heart, even when the day is heavy. Just as I wrote those words today, I glanced at the clock. 11:11. A little synchronicity moment, simple yet meaningful.

I don’t always talk about my numbers, but I often notice patterns—spiritual, behavioral, symbolic—that remind me of something bigger at play. Even if you’re not into “angel numbers,” the repetition of 11:11 has a way of grabbing your attention. Carl Jung called it synchronicity—a meaningful coincidence, something that bridges the inner and outer worlds. To me, 11:11 is a nudge. A whisper to pay attention. A wink from the universe.

Another quote that lives in my soul is:
“Love to live, and live to love.”
To me, this means showing up fully for your life—finding joy in your own existence and sharing that joy with others. Whether you’re blessed with abundance or simply breathing through another hard day, gratitude and love can shift your entire experience. Even when I have down days (and I do, like everyone else), this quote helps me realign.

I also carry the weight and wonder of Descartes’ timeless phrase:
“I think, therefore I am.”
This one speaks to my introspective side. It’s a reminder that even in chaos or confusion, my awareness is my anchor. The act of thinking—doubting, wondering, dreaming—is proof of existence. That truth becomes my foundation when the world feels uncertain.

And let’s be honest—it often does.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how many of us have “lost the plot.” Not the small daily plots, but the life plot—that once-familiar script about what it means to live a meaningful life. The American Dream, community, tradition… it all feels blurred by division, consumerism, and a frenzied pace that leaves little room for reflection. We’ve traded purpose for productivity. Presence for performance. But there’s a better way.

We can reclaim meaning through intentional living. By noticing the patterns. By questioning what no longer serves. By choosing to live with love and discipline, not just reaction. Whether it’s through a mindful meal, a conversation with my son about life’s patterns, or sitting in quiet with my thoughts—I believe these moments matter.

I’m not perfect. I’m not trying to be.
But I live authentically. True to my family. True to the soul of CherryCoBiz, which started with one vision and continues to evolve as I evolve. That’s the heartbeat of everything I do. If I can reach even one person—truly reach them—then it’s all worth it.

So yes, I have a quote. I have a few. And they’ve helped shape the lens through which I view the world:

Love, peace, and happiness.
Love to live, and live to love.
I think, therefore I am.

Three truths. Infinite applications.

And maybe, just maybe, if more of us chose to live meaningfully—to really listen to life’s little whispers—we might just find our way back to the plot.
