I am writing to you not only to honor your current role as Vice President of the United States but also to speak to your future as Madam President. You are already breaking barriers as the first woman, the first woman of color, and the first person of South Asian and African-American descent to serve as Vice President. Your accomplishments are already historic, but I believe they are only the beginning. I know the path ahead will not be easy. The presidency is often said to be the hardest job in the world, and you will be stepping into it at a time when our nation is facing deep challenges. But just like the men who have held the office before you, I am confident that you are ready to carry that weight. You are more than prepared for this. You bring with you a rich tapestry of experiences, from your work as a prosecutor to your time in the Senate, and now as Vice President. You have shown time and again that you can navigate these waters, and I believe you will continue to do so with the strength and determination that has always defined you.
