Blog Update: Journey Through Skincare and Scent – Reviews of Avon Products

Hello, CherryCoBiz community!

I hope this post finds you all in great health and high spirits. Today, I’m excited to share updates and reviews on some Avon products that I’ve been using, spanning from skincare concerns to fragrance delights.

Skincare Revelations

As many of you know, my skin tends to be quite sensitive, which makes every new product trial a cautious step. Recently, I discovered that glycolic acid, an ingredient in several products I tried, including the FarmRx Pineapple Plus Face Mask and certain Anew products, might be the culprit behind some skin irritations I experienced. While glycolic acid is celebrated for its exfoliating properties, it appears that my skin prefers a gentler approach.

Despite this, my family continues to use these products with great results, illustrating how skincare is deeply personal and varies from one individual to another. I want to share this insight because it may help some of you with similar sensitivities make more informed choices.

Fragrance Findings

Moving on to fragrances, I’d like to revisit my experience with Avon’s Far Away and Rare Pearls body sprays. Initially, the packaging presented challenges—the pumps drew more air than product, leading to the bottles collapsing. However, with continued use, this problem has resolved, allowing the true quality of the scents to shine through.

For those considering these sprays, be aware of this potential initial hiccup. Yet, don’t let it deter you. The scents are truly lovely, and the issue may improve with use as it did for me. Encouraged by this, I’m now looking to expand my collection, eyeing the Haiku body spray next.

Balancing Act: Skincare and Fragrance

This journey with both skincare and fragrance underscores the balance we must strike between effective ingredients and personal tolerance, as well as between product quality and packaging functionality. It’s a reminder that our experiences with beauty products are as individual as we are.
