Raise the Bar with Skin So Soft: My Journey to Finding the Perfect Soap

Hello CherryCoBiz Community,

I am thrilled to share my latest discovery in my quest for the perfect bar soap. As some of you may know, I have been on a journey to find products that align with my personal beliefs and suit my temperamental skin. After years of using various body washes, a doctor recommended switching to bar soap to better care for my sensitive skin. This led me down a path of trying numerous options, and I am excited to share a new favorite: Avon’s Skin So Soft Original Bar Soap.

Why I Switched to Bar Soap

Switching to bar soap wasn’t an easy journey. Finding the right one that didn’t irritate my skin took some time. I started with Alaffia’s Authentic African Black Soap, a wonderful product made from fair trade unrefined shea butter and West African palm oil. Triple milled for long-lasting use, this soap was ultra-moisturizing and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. It served me well for quite some time.

However, my journey didn’t end there. I was introduced to a luxurious soap called BIH, rich in silk and goat milk essence, which was gentle and non-irritating. Unfortunately, I could only find it on Temu, a platform that doesn’t align with my values. This led me to continue my search for a more accessible and ethically sourced product.

Discovering Skin So Soft Original Bar Soap

Enter Avon’s Skin So Soft Original Bar Soap. Let me tell you, I am not disappointed. This soap has exceeded my expectations in so many ways. It’s infused with jojoba oil, which nourishes the skin, and it creates a creamy lather with a fresh herbal scent that rinses off easily, leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Key Features:

  • Infused with Jojoba Oil: Nourishes and softens the skin.
  • Creamy Lather: Creates a luxurious feel while cleansing.
  • Fresh Herbal Scent: Leaves a pleasant, lasting fragrance.
  • Easy Rinse-Off: Ensures no residue is left behind.
  • Versatile Use: Suitable for daily use on the face, body, and hands.
  • Size: 3.17 oz. net wt.

My Experience

From the moment I tried this bar soap, I was hooked. The scent is invigorating yet soothing, and the lather is rich and creamy. It feels like a mini spa experience every time I use it. More importantly, it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and moisturized. I appreciate that Avon’s sourcing and manufacturing practices align with my values, making it a product I can feel good about using regularly.

While I have yet to try the other variations in the Skin So Soft line, such as the sensual bar, I am already looking forward to exploring more of Avon’s offerings. For now, this bar soap has become a staple in my daily routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, nourishing soap.
