Meditation: A Personal Voyage Beyond the Divine

the Divine

For as long as I can recall, the concept of the ‘Divine’ has been a constant companion. Every day has been adorned with thoughts about a higher entity, a universal power – some might call it God, others may refer to it as the Universe. My relationship with this Divine has been less about the traditional avenues of worship and more about introspection and inner dialogue.

Prayer vs Meditation

Throughout my life, I’ve engaged in prayer. Prayer, to me, felt like a conversation – sometimes a plea, sometimes an outpouring of gratitude, and sometimes just a way to voice my innermost thoughts. But somewhere along the way, meditation carved a unique niche in my spiritual life. Unlike prayer, which often felt like a structured dialogue, meditation was a journey into silence. It was about quieting the constant chatter and tuning into a frequency of pure love, peace, and happiness.

Reconnecting Through Meditation

My meditative journey began two decades ago, but the profoundness of its impact deepened in the last ten years. And yes, like many, I too battled the restless spirit of an overactive mind. It’s an irony, really. We meditate to quiet our minds, yet our minds resist with more noise.

The pandemic era was an emotional crucible for most of us. For me, it bore the weight of the world’s collective despair. Yet, within this global disquiet, I found a silver lining. I channeled my energies into art and deepened my meditation practice.

Dreams: Windows to Another Realm

One remarkable result of my intensified meditation was the return of my dreams. For years, dreams had abandoned me. Yet, as my meditation grew deeper, they found their way back. These weren’t just whimsical imaginations but insights, precursors to events, a window into another dimension.

I do not claim to have clairvoyant abilities. However, I cannot dismiss the uncanny semblances of reality that some of these dreams portray.

God: The Universal Connection

Religion, for many, offers a roadmap to God. But for me, it’s always been a personal experience, detached from organized faith. The God I feel, love, and connect with is an abstraction, and yet very real. We might all perceive this divine entity differently. For some, it’s a definite figure; for others like me, it’s the universe’s boundless energy.

However, it’s essential to understand that our unique perceptions don’t dilute the essence of this Divine force. My God is as real as yours, even though our experiences might differ.

Final Reflections

Spiritual connection is a profoundly personal journey. For some, it’s through prayer; for others, it’s the tranquil corridors of meditation. My journey led me to realize that while prayer sometimes echoed with my inner noise and overthinking, meditation truly set my spirit free.

I urge you all to explore your spiritual connections. Whether through prayer, meditation, or another path – seek out that which resonates with you. The ultimate goal? To find love, peace, and happiness within.
