The Jack of All Trades, Master of Well-being: My Unconventional Path to Holistic Health

Daily writing prompt
What jobs have you had?

Hello, WordPress community! It’s Terra Turner here. Often dubbed a “jack of all trades,” my career has spanned a wide range of roles—from babysitting and working at a bingo concession stand, to real estate and emergency dispatch. I’ve even explored the world of clinical psychology.

A Winding Path with a Purpose

Each job might seem like a step in different directions, but together, they’ve steered me towards a profound realization: our well-being is interconnected, encompassing mind, body, and spirit.

At 24, a desire for change led me to the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and medication manager. These roles immersed me in geriatric care and provided a backstage pass to the medical industry, enriching my understanding of patient care from the inside out.

A Defining Role

One of the pivotal chapters in my life was my tenure as an emergency air medical dispatcher. During this time, I encountered a national crisis that tested my resolve and underscored the importance of quick thinking and empathy. You can read about my experience during the Fort Hood shooting in 2009 in my post, “More Than a Number: My Personal Connection to a National Tragedy”. How has your job shaped your perspective on life?

From Dispatcher to Solopreneur

Transitioning from high-stakes emergency work to running my own business, CherryCoBiz.com, was fueled by a vision to advocate for holistic health. Here, I work alongside companies delivering wellness solutions and share insights that can transform lives.

My Mission

I’m on a mission to empower you to take control of your health across all spectrums—physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Supporting our V-Truckers and sharing their vital contributions is another passion of mine, as they are the unsung heroes behind our daily supplies.

CherryCoBiz: A Hub of Holistic Health

At CherryCoBiz, you’ll find a treasure trove of information, from nutrition tips to stress management strategies. I love sharing daily “Cherry Tips” on my Facebook page, designed to enhance your day-to-day wellness.

The Origin of CherryCoBiz

The inspiration for CherryCoBiz came unexpectedly. I had already discovered the mangosteen, known as the queen of fruits, which had dramatically improved my health. However, it was a life-altering phone call that introduced me to a product that made the benefits of mangosteen more bioavailable than ever before. This call didn’t just change my approach to personal health; it set the course for my entire professional journey. Have you ever had an unexpected moment that reshaped your future?

Thank you for walking this journey with me. I’m thrilled to share, inspire, and learn together. What’s your story of transformation and well-being? Share in the comments below—I can’t wait to read about it!
